Linear Voltage Regulators
AQ104: Quik LDO™
Preliminary Information
The Quik LDO™ AQ104 is a low dropout regulator that requires no external output capacitor for stability and it is stable with any capacitive load. It offers 0.5 Ohms pass device with 500mA load current. Its output voltage is preset to values between 2V and 3.3V with 1% accuracy and presents very good line and load regulation. It also includes output current limit with foldback characteristic and thermal shutdown. The removal of the output capacitor allows cost and board space reduction along with energy saving at power on and off. It is best suited for battery-powered equipment and in particular for cellular phones.

AQ111: 1A Voltage Regulator in Power SOT23-6
1A regulator in thermally enhanced SOT23-6 packages for significantly reduced footprint.

AQ112: 1A Voltage Regulator
Similar to the AQ1541, the AQ112 implements a 1A regulator in TetraPack™, Acutechnology's proprietary four terminal SOT223. Separate access is given to the collector of the NPN pass device, allowing true LDO dropout with typical NPN regulator stability and performance.
AQ1117: 1A Voltage Regulator
Industry standard 1A regulator in thermally enhanced SOT223. Also availbale in SOT-89 packages for significantly reduced footprint.

AQ1541: 1A Voltage Regulator with Enable
The AQ1541 series of voltage regulators feature a four pin power package (TetraPack™) allowing for an enable pin. The enable pin implements both digital (on/off) and analog functionality allowing outputs to be sequenced or for ratiometric, coincident, or staggered tracking schemes.
AQT533: 500mA LDO with Enable and Reverse Current Blocking
The AQ533 is an SOT-23 LDO with very low dropout. Separate connections to the input supply and to a higher bias supply allow for very low drop in a bipolar NPN follower pass device for optimal performance.

AQ8211: 500mA LDO with Enable
Samples Available
The AQ8211 is a SOT-23 LDO with very low dropout and reverse current blocking. Separate connections to the input supply and to a higher bias supply allow for very low drop in a bipolar NPN follower pass device for optimal performance. The enable threshold for AQ8211 is with respect to output voltage; use BQ8211 for an enable threshold is with respect to ground.

AQ120: Linear Battery Charger Controller
AQ120: LDO Controller
The AQ120 is a low cost linear battery charger controller with similar features to the industry standard "1734" style controller, but with the extra ability to charge multiple cell Lithium Ion batteries as well as NiCad types up to 18 volts. Both output voltage and charge current are programmable with a minimum of external components.
The AQ120 can also be used as a low dropout regulator controller. Using an external PNP, a very inexpensive LDO can be configured; using a discrete PMOS, the AQ120 can be used as a very high current LDO controller, with applications up to tens of Amperes. A separate datasheet is available for use in LDO applications. (The parts and electrical specifications are identical, only terminology differs in the description of the part and its applications.),
